Nimbus Maps
Map-led property and land intelligence
Map-based property intelligence platform aggregating ownership, planning, availability and mobility data for developers, surveyors and agents.
About Nimbus Maps
Nimbus approaches property data through the map. Rather than starting from an address and retrieving its record, the user starts from an area and filters it — by ownership, planning status, availability, constraint or footfall — which suits sourcing work where the target is not yet known.
What It Does
- Site finding: filters applied across the map to surface candidate sites
- Ownership: title and company portfolio search, including which entity owns what across a portfolio
- Planning: applications and constraints
- Comparables: both residential and commercial
- Mobility: traffic and footfall data, relevant to retail and commercial siting
- Infrastructure: substation and DNO data, relevant to energy and EV projects
- Outreach: direct-to-vendor letter campaigns
Position
The mobility and infrastructure layers mark it out. Footfall data matters to a retail occupier choosing a site, and substation capacity matters to an EV charging or renewables developer — neither is a residential agency concern, and both indicate that Nimbus sells well beyond housing.
The platform states it draws on over 2,000 data sources, including Companies House, HM Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, the Environment Agency and National Grid, with access to over 30 million comparables. It lists Knight Frank, CBRE, JLL, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, IKEA and Aviva among its customers.
